Portraits, frames, pour art, woodworking, you name it
I’m a painter, I'm a woodworker, I design and make lighting, I make stuff with resin, I work on motorcycles, I grow bonsai trees (badly)...you name it. I would like to think that there isn't an art form out there that I wouldn't be willing to give a shot but I will say, I am not the best knitter...haha!
I do commissions and have tons of originals and prints for sale on my Etsy page (link in the contact section below). You can find me on Instagram and facebook and if you have an idea in your head about something you want, I bet I can make it for you...
This gallery is in reverse chronological order of almost all of my paintings. There are a number that go unaccounted for and ones I sold without ever getting images of them. But for the most part, it's comprehensive. If they are available to purchase, you will see so when you hover over the image. Contact me if interested in anything, even if unavailable or sold.
I'M NEW TO WOODWORKING.
THAT DOESN'T MEAN I CAN'T NAIL IT.
So I am just getting started with doing woodworking but I watched my dad from when I was a little kid build all kinds of stuff from beds and furniture to full scale buildings. I chipped in where I could. It was always stuff I liked doing. Working with your hands can be very rewarding.
Taking something and shaping it into something that has purpose and meaning beyond simply existing is a very pure and elemental feeling. The satisfaction of putting something together with thought, calculation and execution is tough to find in a visual art like painting. I put plenty of thought into my work but I use materials that already exist and they are combined together.
With wood, you take a shapeless form and completely reidentify it. So, that's what I am striving for. I like to make things I find beautiful and fluid, but with purpose and some exuberance. We'll see where that can take me. I am always open to ideas though so bring 'em on.
